Hans Heinze

Hans is an experienced retired military leader with a strong and proven track record in Leadership Development, training, planning and logistical support. In 2011 Hans established Garcias for Africa, a personal development company specialising in practical and effective leadership programmes for youth and for people working in the agricultural sector.
Michané Van Der Walt

Born and raised in Bloemfontein, Michané is a cum-laude graduate in B.Sc. Genetics and Physiology. As a dynamic and driven young departmental manager, she is specialising in the development of electronic Learner Management Systems and e-learn platforms. She will manage skills training which involves operational planning, warning orders in advance, logistics (regarding venues, transport, accommodation, and meals), admin and preparation, assessments, report compiling, QMS for facilitator submissions, and feedback to facilitators. Michané is also responsible for student administration, student finance, student liaison, moderation, close-out reports to Agri SETA, and Agri SETA admin.

Antonie Geyer

Dr Antonie is a senior and well-known agricultural economist with almost 40 years of experience in the commercial agricultural academic and industry environment. Besides Curriculum Development towards industry-based qualifications, he also specialises in agrarian data warehousing, analysing production data and economic advisory services.
Andre Van Wyk
HOD: Research & Development
B.Sc.; B.Sc. Hons. (Zoology); HED (Higher Education Diploma); B.Ed.; M.Ed.; Ph.D.
Dr André holds a PhD in Curriculum Development in Life Sciences and specialised in the instructional design of learning programmes in an outcomes-based context. He has extensive experience in Life Sciences teaching at secondary and tertial levels, both locally and internationally. He is a registered Assessor and Moderator under the ETDP SETA. Currently, he is the director of a training and consulting institution, operating in the South African skills-development arena. Andre is responsible for research, developing new qualifications, content development of academic literature, power points and videos, designing assessment criteria, specific outcomes and memorandums, curriculum fulfilment, training products/material, facilitating/evaluating and initiating videos, and content developers.

Kgomotso Kgoshe

Kgomotso is a young dynamic manager with experience in research and development in e-learn modules. She also manages and coordinates i3A’s Schools Programme. As the new HOD for Agripedia Productions, Kgomotso plans to take agriculture beyond the farming fields by creating visual content, actively visualizing agricultural careers, innovations and learning spaces as well as representing a community of agriculture in Africa”. She is responsible for Agri-Pedia productions which involve content, videos, and digital content. She also provides support to research and development.
Israel Khoantle
MANAGER: Learner Management System

An information technology entry-level experienced candidate with a B.Sc. in Information Technology and a Higher Certificate in Information Technology. She maintains the network and website accessibility for all users, develops and maintains student databases, registers and gives access to new students (student support), develops Learner Management System (LMS) and E-Learn system, uploads and hosts content, maintains and develops the platforms, and she is involved in software development.
Moseki Molebatsi
MANAGER: QMS & Assessment

National Certificate in Media Consultancy, B Agric in Animal Production, enrolled in B Agric (Hons), with experience in Training Administration. Moseki is responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS) which involves assessments, moderation, qualification conformation, certification, close-out reports to E-Learning Department, training reports, POE archives, student feedback and managing academic support.
Theda Heinze
HOD: Marketing
Theda has partially completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and is also busy with her National Certificate Agri Sales and Services (NQF 4) through i3A. She has 16 years of experience in marketing, sales, advertising, admin, communications, and managing staff. She is responsible for digital and direct marketing and sales. She is also the co-owner of Garcias for Africa, a personal development company specialising in practical and effective leadership programs for youth and for people working in the agricultural sector.
